Golf

Simple 5 minute Bar/House Game.

Goal is to get the lowest score like Golf.
Deal 8 Cards to each player to place in front of them in a 4×2 grid
Make 2 Cards go Face up
Once one player shows all 8 cards – complete out the round – count up the score – move to the next hole.
Play as many rounds as you like – usually 3 is good.

CardScoring
Face Cards (J,Q,K)10
Number Cards (A,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9)Number Value on the Card – Ace is 1
Jokers (Optional)-1
Two of the Same Cards (On top of each other – example 2 7’s is equal to 0)0

Set Up Cards / Players

4×2 Grid to Start the Game – 2 Cards Up (any 2 Cards)

Draw from Discard Pile or Draw Pile.

Replace one of your cards on your board. You do not have to play the card you picked up.

When you replace a face down card – you do not know the value of this card until it is in the discard pile.

Aim for Pairs on the board

Everything is better together.

One Jack is worth 10 points. But two Jacks paired vertically means your Jacks are valued at 0 or par rather than 20.

Queens shown above are worth 10 each, but because they are vertical it is worth 0.

Aces shown above are worth 1 each, but because they are vertical it is worth 0.

A King is worth 0 and a 3 is worth 3 so this player would have +3 for the round.

Play as many rounds as you like. Keep track of total score.

Low Cards always help your Total Score

Go out first to force the hands of the other players

If all 8 cards are shown – all opponents have to flip the remaining face down cards. Some might be good like an Ace or a pair – but some might be devastating like an 8 that will really add up your score quick.

Bottom Player is showing 3 points (due to all the pairs on cancel each other out…. 0 + 0 + 0 + 3.)

Top player is showing 11 points – 0+0+1+10.
