Presidents: Play with 4-8 People that will need to focus. Some people call it not presidents and another game.
Required: Deck of Cards
Deal out all Cards to all Players. First round – no exchanging of cards.
Simple Rules
President goes first. In the case of the first round, left of the dealer goes first.
Play a card, double, or triple. My regional way is you always have to play a card higher. So if a 3 is played – you play a 5. If a King is played, you have to play another King or an Ace. You can play doubles on a single, or triples on a double. 2 Clears any pile and 4 basically passes your round.
If no player can play – it clears back to the last person who played (cannot clear back to the player who played a 4).
Completing the Square can be played at anytime. If Player 1 plays a Seven, then the Player 2 plays a 7, it skips Player 3, if Player 4 Plays a 7, it Skips Player 5. Then the player (any player) with the last 7 can Play this card at anytime and the board clears to them. However, if Player 6 Plays an 8 (or any card higher than a 7), then the player with the last 7 has it still in their hand until a natural turn.
If a player plays the same card as the previous card – it skips the next player.
If you can play you do play.
Cannot end with a 2 or a 4. Otherwise you end up as A******.
Special Cards
2 – Allows you to clear the Board (A****** Clears the board within 5 seconds of this being played). You can only play one 2 at a time, then you will lead the next round.
4- Is a clear card – imagine a transparent card – yes you played
Ace is high.
Several Regional Variations of this Game
Doubles can only be played on Doubles.
Future Rounds
If someone is President for three rounds, they get to make a rule for the rest of the game.
President: 1 person to get rid of all the cards in their hand. President gets 2 Cards from A****** of the presidents choice (Requesting Verbally for cards).
Vice President: 2nd person to get rid of all cards in their hand. Get one card from Beer server as verbal requests.
Beer Server: 2nd to last place gets to offer everyone drinks so no one else has to get up. VP gets to request one card from the Beer Server.
A*******: Last place has to deal the cards and exchange 2 Cards of the presidents choosing to the hand.
